Saturday, June 17 is the date of the Spring Lake Heritage Festival 5 - K. The event takes place at Spring Lake Central Park, located off Fruitport Rd in Spring Lake, Mi. As part of the Spring Lake Heritage Festival, this scenic, family friendly event is a fund raiser for the Faith Marie Losee Foundation, a component of the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation. This event offers a 5 - K run / walk for all ages. The 5 - K course is measured and certified with USA Track and Field. This is a flat, personal record course. We also offer a family rate for family members that reside at the same address. Running strollers WILL be allowed on the course, however, we request you start at the rear of the pack. While running strollers ARE allowed on the course, the following are NOT allowed: Pets, Bikes, Skateboards, Roller Blades and Wagons. All registered participants in the 5 - K will receive a short sleeve "technical" t - shirt. When the 5 - K run is completed, we will kick off the kids' 1 mile fun run. The kids' run is for ages 4 through 10 years old.

8:00AM: 5 - K run start
9:00AM: Kid's run start
9:30AM: Awards presentation
There will be 1 aid station on the 5 - K course offering water and gatorade to the participants. This will be placed approximately at the halfway point on the course.
Prior to and during the awards presentation, participants will be offered bottled water, gatorade, bananas and baked goods (bagels, strudels, etc.)
